Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, our warranty stands out as a commitment
between Castelle and our customers to provide peace of mind and to ensure we
supply the best equipment with the backup of our professional engineers.
Will my aga be out of action for long?
No, as long as your aga is cold upon our
arrival, the conversion will take place during one day. We take it apart and rebuild it
with the new components inside. Your ovens, front and top remain the same. If you
have ordered newly enamalled parts these will be brought with us and swapped on
the day.
What are your lead times?
Our process for conversions is straight forward
and our diary reflects that. Typically our lead time is 3-4 weeks. If refurbishments are
required, the lead in time may be longer, but this can be discussed on a case by
case basis.
Do you disconnect the gas and oil?
No, the gas and oil must be disconnected
by an approved engineer prior to the installation date. The customer often arranges
this, but we can help with this process and we will chat with you in detail about what
is required before we arrive on site.
When do I pay for my conversion?
We ask for a deposit with order and a final
payment to be made on installation day, once you are entirely happy with the
conversion. With minimum overheads and a simple and efficient business model we
are able to keep our prices competitive.
Why do you only sell ElectricKit conversion kits?
We believe ElectricKit is the best and most reliable conversion option. The kit is uncomplicated and easy to
operate. The quality and reliability of its main components such as heating elements,
control box and insulation are excellent. Oilwarm is a long-standing company with
whom we have a great working relationship.
Do you offer re-enamalling service?
Yes, we manage the process using trusted
suppliers in the industry and we are happy to discuss your ideas and offer our advice
on the best options available.
Do you service traditional Agas?
No, there are many quality engineers out there specialising in the servicing and building of traditional gas and oil agas and the older 13A and 30A models. We specialise in the modern, much more economic
Electric conversions.
